9 Apr 2015:
Can't reveal much, but we're really excited about this!
15 Oct 2014:
Have heard some disheartening news about the completion date of our project. *pouts* Nevertheless, the building progress is keeping us optimistic, because there are always positive developments every time we visit.
Since the last visit:
- 2 out of 3 tower cranes gone!
- Water tank installation for our block complete!
- Installation of awnings for our block complete!
- Window installation for our block up to the 6th floor
20 Sep 2014:
Hard works are finally wrapping up!
And... is that the base coat coming up at our living room stack? *megawatt smiles*
28 July 2014:
Water tank installation underway!
21 June 2014:

Blk 663B, 664B - Commenced

12 Apr 2014:
If you remember, our block's up to Level 10 during the last check-in on 1 Jan. 4 months on, Our level is done!
On closer inspection, painting for the inner walls have commenced up to Level 3. The fixtures are still not up yet, but I'm sure they'll be when the structural building is completed. Doors, window panes, tiles, pipes...
Can't wait!

Our first task of Year 2014: Checking out the progress of our beautiful abode. :)
Just about during every visit to the site, I would become extremely emotional - about this project we will soon call home, about this beautiful marriage, and the love these amazing things have culminated from. Can't wait for more. :)
Anyway, the tallest block stands building at Level 14, while ours is done with 10, going on 11! Let's hope my little wish comes true this year!
18 Nov 2013:
Julie: 5 months on since our last check-in at Sunbeam, and the abode's rising steadily but surely!
Going by the calculations, the developer Kay Lim is stacking at an average rate of 1.5 storeys per month per block. That's good progress, especially so when they're almost done with the MSCP. Our block's currently at Level 8 going on 9, while the blocks fronting the Waterway are up to Level 11. With 10 levels remaining, they could be done with the stacking by July 2014 if they're consistent.
:)
2 Jun 2013:
Julie: Thanks to my fellow Sunbeam neighbour for Jovial Gwee for the most recent update! 5 months since our last check, and our block's finally up!

Just last weekend, Le Fiance and I took the great leap of faith... and decided to walk a good distance from his home at Serangoon to Sunbeam. Turned out that it was a good 9.5km exercise, and we reached Sunbeam after 2 hours of walking, bickering, lamenting and complaining. Well, I guess I have a good running route to work with in future. :)

Julie: A pictorial update by my future neighbours, Mr Joseph Yuan and Ms Jovial Gwee. I'm thankful for their regular updates on the building progress of our lovely little enclave. We belong to a small cluster of 5 blocks along the Punggol Waterway, and the kampung spirit is heartening.

Dec 2012
After 2 attempts at the BTO line and month after month of monitoring the new project releases, this caught our eyes with its clean facade and fantastic location along the Punggol Waterway. And we're now glad to call the Waterway Sunbeam our cosy abode.
The Waterway Sunbeam is named after the Malayan Sunbeam butterfly, an effervescent creature found locally. Rare, but identifiable if you look close enough around you. The silvery facade assimilates the similarly-coloured underside of the Sunbeam butterfly.
Although it's 3 LRT stations away from Punggol MRT station and a good 30-minute drive from my current home, I'd rather appreciate the little things that made us pick this project.
So the crucial question everyone asks is: how did you choose your unit?
Our queue number was smacked right in the middle, and we kind of made up our minds that we wanted waterfront facilities without the waterfront view. So it was betting on human nature that will urge those in the queue before us to pick the all the units near the waterfront, thus clearing up a sizable chunk of the queue. We wanted privacy with good airflow, so a relatively high floor was desired. There was the afternoon sun to avoid to prevent our home from becoming a high-rise sauna, as well as the morning and sea breeze to catch. And because of the background of our jobs, we did our calculations to ensure that we're able to service our monthly mortgage instalments comfortably and fully by CPF.
So now all that's left to do is to wait for the next letter!
