What a difference 9 days and a lot of heckling make. Our wall is BACK!
So this is one of the greatest reveals made so far - our Austin brick wall. It cost us a good fraction of our renovation budget, but the warmth it exudes when the morning light comes through upon it is priceless. Oh and that hole up there? It's for our good ol' cuckoo clock.
The kitchen's coming up nicely too!
I'll have to raise a disclaimer at this juncture - not everything was done with conscientiousness. It took a hell lot of time for them to get our platform bed done right, and we were still missing the hatch doors for the storage compartments right into the first week of our move-in. This is a slow bunch. Tsk tsk.
