Prior to stepping into The Chinese Wedding Shop, we were shopping both online and in stores for the invitation for our ROM. The designs at both TCWS and The Card Room intrigued me with the detail within the simplicity, but TCWS beat the latter hands down by simply being more accessible to us. It was a simple equation - you can't be replying to emails after, what, 2 weeks? When the Card Room chose to brush our enquiry aside, TCWS came into view while we were shopping in Clementi. They boost 3 physical shops and an online catalogue to cater to both the walk-in couples and the tech-savvy crowd - and this was precisely why we picked TCWS eventually to print our invites.
After going through a couple dozen of designs with elaborate folds and fancy emblems, we selected a classic and clean-looking invite (Photoshop brush or not) that we both really liked, with golden words encapsulated by an ebony frame. Set against a pearl-white background, the words were especially outstanding.
