[Reno Day 1] Let's break walls!

Being the kan-chiong spiders that I am, the conceptualisation for our first home started in 2014, even before we started planning for our customary wedding. Using very simple 3D rendering software, we started laying out the furniture, planning the colour schemes and window-shopping to work out our budget.

But when it came down to finally looking for an ID, we were ... lazy. The conventional IDs we spoke to were sweet talkers, promising that they could do everything within our budget. We were too lazy to engage them further. Then we encountered IDs without HDB licenses but wanted to work on our project at an exorbitant cost. So we, being the lazy asses, listened to them drone on while taking their ideas into consideration.

Then we were introduced to Daren from Urban Design by a close friend. Having seen his finished product, we were pretty impressed and brought forth our design to him for his comments. We was pretty much who we needed to get the job done; more of a technician than a designer, not pushy, never a yes man when he knows that certain things cannot be done and has a mild sense of dry humour.

So after months of terrorising Daren face-to-face and via email, the works officially commenced on 22 Jul 2015!

These walls are soooooo coming down!
Half-done, but promising!
To a bigger, brighter, airier kitchen!

More updates coming up soon!
