Our Solemnisation: 17 June 2013

It's been two months since our beautiful day.

Time flew by in a flurry. I was at Ponnie Hsu's studio by 9.15am to go under the magical ministrations of her make-up brush. To keep my nerves under wraps, we chatted incessantly about the then-upcoming Taipei trip while she prettied me up. Being a Taipei native herself, Ponnie was multi-tasking effectively, recommending foodie spots in Taipei while effortlessly sticking on falsies. She could have possibly second-guessed the emotions of a bride-to-be on her wedding day. Can't wait to engage her services again.

And in the midst of the flurry, Boss rang my phone. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry, because I spent a good 5 minutes discussing work with an upper rank while shuffling out of Ponnie's studio.

We had our solemnisation at the balcony of Tung Lok Signatures @ Clarke Quay, which gave us a perfect outdoor view... if only the haze hadn't been around.

If you're wondering where to get exactly what you want for your wedding deco, go for www.florist.sg. I've dreamt of an ivory white bouquet with lace and pearls... And I got exactly what I want.

I love my bouquet! And my hair, and my makeup...

Our solemniser is Mr Lam Chin Koi (BBM,PBS). He's not long-winded, he cuts to the chase, and it's our pleasure to have him solemnise us. He even came in our dress code and prepared personalised wedding vows for us! :)

Once again, thank you to all for your love and blessings.
